Workbook / Bankroll Brief / Overview
Bankroll discipline / adults 18+

Decide the number before the match starts.

Bankroll Brief is a short workbook for adults who want a spending ceiling that survives a losing streak. No picks, no systems — just limits, rules and honest totals.

Ceiling

One number, decided early

Pick an amount that changes nothing else if it is gone. That is your monthly ceiling, and it is not renegotiable mid-session.

Session

Smaller than the month

Split the ceiling across sessions so one bad night cannot swallow the whole allowance.

Record

Write the total down

A single line per session turns a vague feeling into a fact you can actually read back.

Why a written limit beats willpower

Willpower is a bad default because it is weakest exactly when you need it. A written ceiling, a time-boxed session and an agreed stop rule are defaults you set while you are calm, so they can hold while you are not.

What this workbook will not do

It will not pick a side, beat the margin, or turn wagering into income. Wagering is a negative-expectation activity for almost everyone. Our value is organisational, not predictive.

Already past the limit? If you are spending more than planned, hiding it, or borrowing to play, a better plan will not fix it — a break and support will. Stop and talk to someone you trust.
